This may include medication when indicated, but also psychotherapy, mindfulness, nutrition, supplements, physical activity, sleep interventions, and other cognitive and behavioral strategies. I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and have extensive experience treating adult patients with symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, personality disorders, bipolar and schizophrenia spectrum disorder, among others. I have additional specialized training, and am passionate about, working with women with peripartum mental health symptoms (before and after pregnancy). I also have additional training in sleep medicine, nutritional psychiatry, and psychotherapy to support my integrative approach to mental health care. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals (both acute and long-term psychiatric units), and emergency rooms, providing me with expertise in treating a wide breadth of mental illness severity.
